    Short version: Baby Monitor does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.
    All audio stays on your local Wi-Fi network and never leaves your devices.

1. Information We Collect

Baby Monitor by Th3J22 collects no personal information. The app does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal details.

2. Microphone Usage

The app uses your device's microphone solely to stream live audio between two devices on the same local Wi-Fi network (Monitor Mode and Parent Mode). This audio is:

Transmitted only between your two devices over your local network
Never recorded or stored on any device
Never sent to any server, cloud service, or third party
Never accessible to us or anyone outside your local network

3. Local Network Usage

The app communicates exclusively over your local Wi-Fi network using direct device-to-device TCP connections. No internet connection is required or used for the core baby monitoring features.

4. Advertising

Baby Monitor uses Google AdMob to display a banner advertisement on the home screen only. Google AdMob may collect certain device information to serve relevant ads, including:

Advertising ID (can be reset or opted out in Android Settings)
Device type and OS version
General location (country/region level)

8. Data Storage

Baby Monitor stores no user data locally or remotely. The app does not use databases, cloud storage, analytics SDKs, or crash reporting services.

6. Children's Privacy

Baby Monitor is a tool designed to help parents monitor their infants. The app does not collect any data from children or adults. We comply fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

7. ⚠️ Device Safety Warning

IMPORTANT — Please read carefully before use:

When using Baby Monitor in Monitor Mode, a phone is placed in or near the baby's room. For the safety of your child, please follow these guidelines at all times:

🚫 Never place the phone within reach of your baby or young child. Phones are not toys and pose a serious choking and strangulation hazard.
🔌 Keep all charging cables and power cords completely out of reach. Charging cables pose a serious strangulation risk to infants and toddlers.
🔋 Do not leave a charging phone in the crib or bassinet. Charging devices can overheat and pose a fire or burn hazard.
📏 Mount or place the monitor phone at a safe distance — at least 3 feet (1 metre) away from the baby, secured so it cannot fall.
🌡️ Do not cover the phone with blankets or soft materials while it is running or charging, as this can cause overheating.

Th3J22 is not responsible for any injury, harm, or damage resulting from improper placement or use of a device running this application. It is the sole responsibility of the parent or guardian to ensure the safe placement of all devices used with Baby Monitor.

9. Permissions Explained

Permission	Why it's needed
RECORD_AUDIO	To capture baby sounds and stream them to the parent device
INTERNET	Required for local Wi-Fi socket connections and AdMob ads
FOREGROUND_SERVICE	To keep monitoring active when the screen is off
POST_NOTIFICATIONS	To send alerts when a loud sound is detected
ACCESS_WIFI_STATE	To display the device's local IP address for connection setup

10. Third-Party Services

The only third-party service used is Google AdMob (advertising). No analytics, crash reporting, or social SDK is included.

11. Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
